BLAIR A. MOORE
Blair Moore is a womenswear ready-to-wear and accessories designer based in New York City. After graduating the prestigious BFA Fashion Design Program at Parsons School of Design in 2015 with the Portfolio of the Year award. Blair was named semi-finalist for the H&M Design Award where Blair showed her collection in London against the top 10 up and coming designers in the world. She was awarded the winning title by a panel of judges including Alexander Wang, Giovanna Battaglia, Laurent Claquin of Kering, Nicole Phelps of Vogue.com of the mega brand Kerings’ Empowering Imagination Award where she attended workshops in Italy with the Kering brands Bottega Veneta and Gucci.
Blair has been working under the former Creative Director and Founder of Maiyet Kristy Caylor at a new Venture Cerci.co over the past year focusing on a new way of designing and implementing sustainable techniques within the design process. She also has worked at Maiyet and Ralph Lauren Collection Footwear gaining hands-on experience in high-end textiles and luxury accessories.
Born into a life of cattle farming in the outback of Australia. After realizing an in depth love for textiles and colors Blair went to acquire a business degree fabricating an eye for marketing and product placement. From there Blair moved to the big apple to pursue a fashion design degree at Parsons school of Design.
While attending Parsons, Blair was highly recognized and nominated for numerous awards including; Designer of The Year Nominee, Portfolio of the Year Winner, Kering/style.com Empowering Imagination Winner, Ars Sutoria runner up for her shoe designs.
Blair also created a capsule collection for LDNY where showed in both London and New York. While having a in-depth love for Shoe Design, Clothing and Textiles; Blair also is the Founder and Creative Director of stitchlinens.com where she works with artisans in their own apartments all over New York City. Developing a line of linen homewares. She is also the Founder of Moore House a group of historic homes in Rhode island that are restored rebuilt in a sustainable and eco friendly manner.
